Helping Keith out ever so slightly in the Airwaves roundup. FM Belfast are a major party act. Their entire set has shooting streamers and dropping confetti and glitter - not just the final song. It also seemed like every song was made for chanting along by a bouncing audience. Basically: not the most polished or sophisticated but undeniably fun. They released a new album last Friday... maybe we saw a combo album-release party? Either way, worth a night out if they're in your town.
Glowie - No Lie
Having probably the best voice of all the acts we saw at Airwaves was Glowie. Her show was a lot of fun, and we found ourselves getting into it despite it not really being our thing. She's just about as sugary as you can get, but you can't deny the talent there.
Lime Cordiale - Hanging Upside Down
Sydney-based Lime Cordiale has the perfect name. Their music is light, bubbly, with a hint of flavor and perfect for a sunny afternoon. Oh, and it's definitely P-13. They've got a pleasant new debut album out just a few weeks back, but today's Most Important is from their 2015 EP.
