Montreal duo She-Devils have a dreamy, U.S. 60's psychedelic-meets-80's U.K. shoegaze that is perfectly mid-oughts indie. I was hoping they'd pop up at SXSW but they're not on any official lists I've seen. Still, a lot of the states (and some of their native Cananda) can catch them on tour this spring.

Franz Ferdinand - Lazy Boy
Today's Most Important is an ode to being happily lazy because we had a VERY busy day yesterday and are doing nothing but laze today and it feels good. Speaking of lazy (not really a great segue but) I didn't even realize Franz Ferdinand were still making music. I kinda only knew "Take Me Out" until recently. Totally lame to admit though, as Wikipedia schools me they've been consistently releasing albums (last week's Always Ascending is their fifth) and even participated in a big, anti-Trump, 50-song promo in 2016. Whoops, my bad, but still somehow I was excited when I started hearing tracks from this album and found out they're touring here this May. Anyways, hope y'all are enjoying your Sunday in whatever way feels good to you.

Chvrches - Get Out
OMG new Chvrches!!! The Wombats & this I've been meaning to post for a couple of weeks (thankfully Keith is filling in some of my gaps). Are you as excited as I am for another full album from these Glaswegians (Love Is Dead, later this year)?? I feel so lucky that I've seen Lauren & the boys live twice, and from up close, as they reside in the very heart of my musical sweet spot, and I'm starting to get away from that urge to rush the stage... well, because my BF would rather hang in the back of the crowd but anyway we ARE getting older, and Chvrches crowds are getting much larger.
